Chairman(s)!

A first Chairman’s reception for me – another new experience and just up the road from where I live!  Colehill Parish Council is our neighbouring Parish and we’re quite an integrated set of communities, so it wasn’t surprising to see so many familiar faces at the Memorial Hall last Friday.

The Wimborne Orchestra was playing on stage which presented a lovely atmosphere for a gathering of local Councillors and residents.

Cllr Barry Roberts the Chairman of the Council was our host and did a speech to thank the many people who helped make the evening go so well, including the W I who put on a fabulous spread (and were on bar duty)!

It was indeed a very warm welcome and a generally nice social gathering which included the Mayor of Verwood, Chairman of EDDC, Chairman of Corfe Mullen Parish Council, lots of Colehill Parish cllrs and residents.  Our own Vice Chairman Cllr Bartlett and his wife Tracy were there and so many more!

Great evening – thanks CPC!

All the Chairman (having a laugh)
